Crockpot Barbecue Ribs

– 4 lbs pork ribs
– 2 cups barbecue sauce
– 2 tsp brown sugar
– 3 garlic cloves, minced
– 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1/2 cup water

1. Prepare the ribs by removing the membrane and seasoning them with salt and pepper.
2. In a bowl, mix the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce.
3. Place the ribs in the crockpot and pour the sauce mixture over them. Add water to the bottom of the crockpot.
4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the ribs are tender.
5. Optional: For a caramelized crust, place the cooked ribs on a baking sheet, brush with additional barbecue sauce, and broil for 3-5 minutes.
