Easy Baked Salsa Chicken


4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup salsa
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon taco seasoning
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Salt and pepper to taste


Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and taco seasoning.
Place the seasoned chicken in a baking dish.
Pour the salsa over the chicken.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
Remove the dish from the oven, sprinkle the chicken with shredded cheddar cheese, and return to the oven.
Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro on top.
