Creamy Cajun Steak Alfredo
Ingredients:
1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), sliced into strips
12 oz fettuccine pasta
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, diced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook Pasta: Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare Steak: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak strips with salt, pepper, and half of the Cajun seasoning. Add the steak to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Make Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, add butter, minced garlic, and diced onion. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and remaining Cajun seasoning until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing it in the creamy Alfredo sauce until fully coated. Return the cooked steak strips to the skillet and mix well.
Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
