French Onion Beef and Noodles
Ingredients
1 lb beef stew meat, cut into bite-sized pieces π₯©
1 tbsp olive oil π«
1 large onion, thinly sliced π§
1 packet (1 oz) French onion soup mix πΏ
4 cups beef broth π₯£
8 oz egg noodles π
1 cup shredded Swiss or mozzarella cheese π§
Salt and pepper to taste π§
Instructions
In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and season with salt and pepper; cook until browned π₯©π«π§.
Add the sliced onions and cook until softened and caramelized π§ .
Stir in the French onion soup mix and beef broth, bringing to a simmer πΏπ₯£.
Add egg noodles and cook until tender, about 8-10 minutes π.
Sprinkle cheese on top and stir until melted and creamy π§.
