French Onion Beef and Noodles

Ingredients

1 lb beef stew meat, cut into bite-sized pieces 🥩

1 tbsp olive oil 🫒

1 large onion, thinly sliced 🧅

1 packet (1 oz) French onion soup mix 🌿

4 cups beef broth 🥣

8 oz egg noodles 🍜

1 cup shredded Swiss or mozzarella cheese 🧀

Salt and pepper to taste 🧂

Instructions

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and season with salt and pepper; cook until browned 🥩🫒🧂.

Add the sliced onions and cook until softened and caramelized 🧅.

Stir in the French onion soup mix and beef broth, bringing to a simmer 🌿🥣.

Add egg noodles and cook until tender, about 8-10 minutes 🍜.

Sprinkle cheese on top and stir until melted and creamy 🧀.
