Succulent Garlic Butter Surf and Turf


2 ribeye steaks
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges for serving


Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
Sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.
In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Cook until fragrant.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet and add chopped parsley.
Return the steaks and shrimp to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter sauce over them.
Serve with lemon wedges.
