Mongolian Beef for Two

8 oz flank steak (options: skirt, hanger, or sirloin thinly sliced)
1.5 Tbsp starch
1 tsp sesame oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp minced ginger
1 Tbsp brown sugar
2.5 Tbsp soy sauce
2.5 Tbsp water
3 Tbsp chopped green/spring onion
Cover steak with starch and place it in the slow cooker
Mix sauce ingredients and cover the steak
Cook on high about 1.5-2.5 hours or low about 3-4 hours
Stir in the onion to serve
May be served with steamed rice and a vegetable
Original recipe has been modified for two servings
