Peanut Butter M&M’s Cookies

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup peanut butter
1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
Pinch of salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
Mini chocolate chips, to taste
Peanut Butter M&M’s, to taste

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and peanut butter until smooth and well combined.
Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and instant vanilla pudding mix to the butter mixture. Mix until creamy and well combined.
Add the eggs to the mixture, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the mini chocolate chips and a desired amount of Peanut Butter M&M’s into the cookie dough.
Scoop or roll the dough into balls and place them on the prepared cookie sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Press a couple of extra M&M’s on top of each dough ball for a more colorful appearance.
Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden brown.
Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the cookie sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
