Best Ever Pepper Steak

– 1 1/2 pounds beef sirloin, thinly sliced
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 1 bell pepper, sliced
– 1 onion, sliced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/2 cup beef broth
– 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 green onions, chopped, for garnish
– 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, for garnish

1. In a bowl, mix the beef slices with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the remaining oil, bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Stir-fry for a few minutes until vegetables are tender.
4. Return the beef to the skillet. Add beef broth, oyster sauce, and sugar. Cook until the sauce thickens.
5. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
