Pioneer Woman Cheeseburger Pie

• 1 pound ground beef
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 cup milk
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• Optional toppings: chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mustard
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it’s browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
3. Add the chopped onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook until the onion is soft and the beef is fully cooked. Drain any extra grease.
4. Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in the bottom of the prepared pie dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, flour, eggs, and baking powder until it forms a smooth mixture. Pour this over the beef and cheese in the pie dish.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and set.
7. Remove from the oven and let the pie cool for a bit before slicing.
8. Serve slices of your delicious Cheeseburger Pie with your favorite burger toppings like chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Enjoy!
