Description:
British-style lamb meatballs infused with mint and garlic, served in a tomato-based sauce.
Ingredients:
• 500g ground lamb
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
• 1 egg
• 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
• 1/2 tsp cumin
• Salt, pepper
Sauce:
• 1 can chopped tomatoes
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 onion, chopped
Instructions:
1. Mix meatball ingredients and shape into balls.
2. Fry in a pan until browned.
3. Cook onion, add tomatoes and sugar.
4. Simmer meatballs in sauce for 20 mins.
