Classic Lasagna Recipe
Ingredients:
12 lasagna noodles π
1 lb ground beef π₯©
1 jar marinara sauce π
2 cups ricotta cheese π§
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese π§
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese π§
1 egg π₯
1 tbsp olive oil π«
1/2 tsp garlic powder π§
1/2 tsp dried oregano πΏ
Salt & pepper to taste π§
Fresh parsley for garnish πΏ
Instructions:
Prepare the Noodles:
Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside. π
Make the Meat Sauce:
In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef. π₯©
Add garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes. π
Prepare the Cheese Mixture:
In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and egg. Mix well. π§π₯
Assemble the Lasagna:
Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). π½οΈ
Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish. Layer lasagna noodles, followed by ricotta cheese mixture, meat sauce, and shredded mozzarella. Repeat the layers. π§π
Finish with a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
Bake:
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden. π½οΈ
Serve:
Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color. πΏ
