Chicken and Shrimp with Garlic Herb Cream Sauce
Ingredients:
– 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– 1/4 cup chicken broth
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 teaspoon dried basil
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, dried basil, and dried oregano. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Shrimp
In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if needed and cook the shrimp until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about a minute. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it thicken slightly.
Step 4: Combine Ingredients
Return the chicken and shrimp to the skillet, coating them in the garlic herb cream sauce. Allow everything to heat through for a few minutes.
Step 5: Serve
Serve the chicken and shrimp with garlic herb cream sauce over rice or pasta. Enjoy!
