Crockpot Brisket
This tender and flavorful Crockpot Brisket is a comforting dish that slow-cooks to perfection in a savory sauce. Perfect for an easy, hearty dinner!
Ingredients:
3–4 lbs beef brisket
1 large onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Steps:
Prepare the Brisket:
Season the brisket on both sides with smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Sear the Brisket (Optional):
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the brisket for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned.
Assemble in Crockpot:
Place sliced onions and minced garlic at the bottom of the crockpot.
Lay the brisket on top.
Make the Sauce:
In a bowl, mix beef broth, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Pour the mixture over the brisket.
Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours, or on high for 4–6 hours, until the brisket is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
Serve:
Remove the brisket from the crockpot and slice or shred. Serve with the sauce from the crockpot on the side or drizzled over the meat.
