Crockpot Beef Stew recipe for you
Ingredients:
2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into chunks
3 medium potatoes, diced
3 carrots, sliced
2 celery stalks, sliced
1 onion, diced
1 cup frozen peas
3 cups beef broth
3 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
Instructions:
1. Prep the Ingredients: Add beef, potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion to the Crockpot.
2. Mix the Sauce: In a bowl, combine beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Pour over the ingredients in the Crockpot.
3. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours, until the beef is tender and vegetables are cooked through.
4. Add Peas: Stir in frozen peas 30 minutes before the stew is done.
5. Thicken the Stew (Optional): Mix cornstarch with water, then stir it into the stew. Let it cook for another 15 minutes until thickened.
6. Serve: Ladle into bowls and enjoy warm!
