Broccoli, Rice, Cheese, and Chicken Casserole
Ingredients:
2 cups water
2 cups uncooked rice
1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
¼ cup butter
1 cup milk
1 small white onion, diced
16 oz broccoli pieces
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
1. Prepare:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the rice according to package directions.
2. Assemble:
In a 9×13-inch baking dish, combine the cooked rice, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, butter, milk, diced onion, and broccoli pieces. Mix well.
Stir in 1 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
3. Bake:
Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
4. Finish:
During the last few minutes of baking, sprinkle the remaining cup of Cheddar cheese over the top. Allow it to melt.
Remove the casserole from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
5. Serve:
