Classic Beef Lo Mein
Ingredients:
8 oz lo mein noodles
1 lb flank steak (thinly sliced)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tbsp ginger (grated)
1 cup sliced bell peppers
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup snap peas
1/4 cup green onions (chopped)
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions:
1️⃣ Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ In a hot skillet, heat vegetable oil and cook steak slices for 2-3 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ Add garlic, ginger, bell peppers, carrots, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender.
4️⃣ Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Add cooked noodles and steak back to the skillet.
5️⃣ Toss everything together until well coated. Garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes:
Add a pinch of chili flakes for some heat!
Substitute flank steak with chicken or shrimp for variety.
