Classic Lasagna
Ingredients:😋
12 lasagna noodles
1 lb ground beef
1 jar marinara sauce
2 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried oregano
Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish

Cook the Noodles:
Boil the lasagna noodles as per the package instructions, drain, and set aside.
Make the Meat Sauce:
In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned.
Season with garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add the marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
Prepare the Cheese Mixture:
In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan, and egg. Mix thoroughly.
Assemble the Lasagna:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish. Layer with noodles, ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and shredded mozzarella. Repeat the layers, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
Bake:
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes, until the top is bubbly and golden.
Serve:
Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley for a vibrant touch.
