Italian Velveeta Beef & Bowtie Pasta
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
12 oz bowtie pasta
1 (14.5 oz) jar marinara sauce
1 (8 oz) block Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in marinara sauce, Velveeta cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, mixing well to coat the pasta in the sauce.
Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Garnish with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil before serving.
