Cheesy Meatball and Sausage Pie

Ingredients:๐Ÿ˜‹

– 1 pre-made pie crust
– 12 pre-cooked meatballs, halved
– 200g cooked sausage, sliced
– 1 cup marinara sauce
– 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
– Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Preparation Steps:๐Ÿ˜‹

1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
2. Line a 9-inch pie dish with the pie crust.
3. Spread half the marinara sauce on the bottom of the crust.
4. Layer half the meatballs and sausage over the sauce.
5. Sprinkle half the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the meat.
6. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
7. Fold the edges of the crust over, brush with egg wash, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
9. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
10. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
