Creamy Garlic Butter Lobster Tails
Ingredients:
4 lobster tails
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/4 cup heavy cream
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the lobster tails:
Using kitchen shears, carefully cut down the center of the top shell of the lobster tail, then gently pull the shell apart, exposing the lobster meat. If you prefer, you can also remove the lobster meat entirely, leaving it attached to the shell at the base for an elegant presentation.
2️⃣ Cook the lobster tails:
Preheat your oven’s broiler to high.
Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Broil the lobster tails for 8-10 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through (the internal temperature should reach 140°F or 60°C).
3️⃣ Make the garlic butter sauce:
While the lobster tails are cooking, melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Stir in the heavy cream, red pepper flakes (if using), and lemon juice. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
4️⃣ Combine and serve:
Once the lobster tails are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle the creamy garlic butter sauce over the lobster meat.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
5️⃣ Enjoy:
Serve the lobster tails immediately, paired with a side of steamed vegetables or garlic bread for an extra touch of indulgence.
