Juicy Grilled Chicken with a Savory Garlic Parmesan Coating, Paired with Golden Crispy Fries
Ingredients:
– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
– 1 tsp Italian seasoning
– 4 large russet potatoes, sliced into fries
– 2 tbsp olive oil (for fries)
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, and Italian seasoning. Set aside.
3. Brush each chicken breast with olive oil, then place them on the grill. Grill for 5-6 minutes per side, until the chicken is cooked through.
4. During the last 2 minutes of grilling, sprinkle the garlic-Parmesan mixture evenly over the chicken breasts. Close the grill lid to allow the cheese to melt slightly.
5. For the fries, toss sliced potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
6. Bake the fries in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway, until they are golden and crispy.
7. Garnish both the chicken and fries with fresh parsley before serving.
