Parmesan Garlic Bacon Cheeseburger Lasagna
Ingredients:
For Garlic Bacon Cheeseburger Filling:
1 lb ground beef
6 slices bacon, chopped
½ onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon sea salt (plus more to taste)
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional for flavor)
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
For the Lasagna:
9 lasagna noodles (cooked according to package instructions)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 egg
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus more for topping)
For the Parmesan Garlic Sauce:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon sea salt (plus more to taste)
½ teaspoon black pepper
Optional:
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
1️⃣ Make the Garlic Bacon Cheeseburger Filling:
In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the pan.
Add the ground beef, onion, and minced garlic to the same pan. Cook over medium-high heat until the beef is browned and fully cooked. Season with sea salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Stir in the cooked bacon, then remove from heat and set aside.
2️⃣ Prepare the Parmesan Garlic Sauce:
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, to form a roux.
Slowly pour in the milk and heavy cream, whisking continuously to prevent lumps.
Add garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook for 1 more minute. Remove from heat.
3️⃣ Prepare the Ricotta Layer:
In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
4️⃣ Assemble the Lasagna:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of Parmesan Garlic Sauce on the bottom.
Place 3 cooked lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
Spread ⅓ of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by ⅓ of the Garlic Bacon Cheeseburger Filling.
Sprinkle with ⅓ of the shredded mozzarella, sharp cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses.
Pour ⅓ of the Parmesan Garlic Sauce on top.
Repeat this layering process 2 more times, ending with a final layer of cheeses and Parmesan Garlic Sauce on top.
5️⃣ Bake:
Cover the lasagna with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbling.
6️⃣ Serve:
