Sizzling Garlic-Glazed Steak & Shrimp Medley
“A flavorful surf-and-turf dish perfect for dinner parties or a quick indulgence!”
Ingredients:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes 🥩
½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined 🍤
2 tbsp olive oil 🫒
3 garlic cloves, minced 🧄
1 tsp paprika 🌶️
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper, to taste 🧂
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) 🌿
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Steak Bites:
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the steak cubes in a single layer and sear for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beautifully browned.
Transfer the steak bites to a plate and set aside.
2️⃣ Create the Aromatic Base:
In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil.
Sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until golden and fragrant.
Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn perfectly pink.
3️⃣ Blend the Flavors:
Return the steak bites to the skillet.
Sprinkle with paprika and pour in soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
Season with salt and pepper, gently tossing to coat.
Simmer for 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
4️⃣ Present and Serve:
Transfer the steak and shrimp medley to a serving plate.
Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
Serve alongside rice, mashed potatoes, or a crisp salad for a complete meal.
Pro Tip:
For the most tender results, let your steak rest at room temperature for 20 minutes before cooking, and always slice against the grain when cutting into bite-sized pieces.
