Crockpot Cheesesteak Potato Casserole
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
4 cups diced potatoes (peeled)
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 yellow onion, diced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Brown the ground beef (or turkey) in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drain any excess grease.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup and milk. Mix until smooth.
In your crockpot, layer the diced potatoes, browned ground beef, bell pepper, and onion.
Pour the soup mixture evenly over the layers.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
Stir gently before serving, ensuring everything is evenly mixed and coated.
