🍽️🧀 Mac and Cheese Meatloaf Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups cooked macaroni
1 cup marinara sauce or ketchup (for topping)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
Press the meat mixture into the bottom of a greased casserole dish, forming a meatloaf layer.
Spread the cooked macaroni evenly on top of the meatloaf.
Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the macaroni.
Top with marinara sauce or ketchup for added flavor.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the meatloaf is fully cooked.
Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Tip: For an extra kick, add a little bit of hot sauce or spicy mustard to the meat mixture!
