WOULD YOU EAT THIS RIBEYE STEAK AND SHRIMP SKILLET

OMG DON”T LOSE THIS RECIPE! This juicy ribeye steak paired with succulent shrimp in a garlicky butter sauce makes for an unforgettable surf-and-turf meal cooked to perfection in one skillet!

Ingredients:
Ribeye Steak and Shrimp

1 ribeye steak (about 1 inch thick)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter, divided
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
Prepare the Steak: Season both sides of the ribeye generously with salt and pepper. Let it sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Add the steak and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust cooking time for desired doneness). During the last minute, add 1 tbsp of butter and fresh thyme or rosemary. Spoon the melted butter over the steak. Remove the steak from the skillet, cover, and let it rest.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, then add the shrimp. Season with a little salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Squeeze a bit of lemon juice over the shrimp.

Serve: Slice the ribeye steak and plate with the garlic butter shrimp. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.

Helpful Tip: For a little extra flavor, add a splash of white wine to the garlic butter sauce before adding the shrimp. Serve with a side of mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or a crisp salad!
