Ultimate Triple Cheeseburger with Special Sauce
Ingredients:
Burger Patties:
1½ lbs ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
12 slices American or cheddar cheese
4 large burger buns
Toppings:
Lettuce leaves
Sliced tomatoes
Sliced pickles
Sliced onions
Special Sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp mustard
2 tbsp finely chopped pickles or relish
1 tsp white vinegar
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Make the Special Sauce: In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, chopped pickles, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste and set aside.
Form the Patties: Divide the ground beef into 12 equal portions and shape into thin patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper.
Cook the Patties: Heat a large skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook each patty for about 2-3 minutes per side. Place a slice of cheese on each patty after flipping and let it melt. Stack three patties for each burger.
Assemble the Triple Cheeseburger: Spread a layer of special sauce on the bottom bun. Add lettuce, a slice of tomato, and a pickle. Place a stack of three cheesy patties on top. Finish with onions and another dollop of special sauce on the top bun.
Serve: Secure with a skewer if needed and serve hot!
Notes:
Toast buns on the grill for extra flavor and stability!
