Easy Italian Sausage and Beef Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients:
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup plain bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Pecorino Romano cheese
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 lb bulk sweet Italian pork sausage
1-1½ lbs ground beef
Instructions:
Prep the Panade: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Add the bread crumbs and let them soak for 10 minutes to form the panade.
Add Seasonings and Meat: Mix in Pecorino Romano, salt, and Italian seasoning. Add in the ground beef and Italian sausage, gently combining until just mixed.
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and place a baking rack on a baking sheet.
Form Meatballs: Scoop the mixture into portions and roll into balls, around 1½-2 inches in diameter, for medium meatballs. Place them on the prepared baking rack.
Bake: Cook the meatballs for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Tips for Success:
Let ingredients sit out for about 20 minutes for easier mixing.
Don’t overmix, as it can make the meatballs tough.
Adjust the ratio to your taste, using a mix of sweet and spicy sausage if desired.
