Amish Broccoli Salad

Ingredients:
4 cups fresh broccoli florets, chopped
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries
Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
Directions:
In a large salad bowl, combine broccoli, cheddar cheese, red onion, bacon, sunflower seeds, and raisins or dried cranberries.
In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, and apple cider vinegar until smooth.
Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss well to coat evenly.
Refrigerate the salad for at least an hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
