Ultimate Ribeye Steak
1. Ribeye for what ?
The ribeye comes from the rib portion of the cow, and its ample marbling promises a flavor that’s simply unbeatable. When cooked right, the fat transforms into the meat, giving a steak that is both tender and flowing with flavor.
2. Getting your steak ready
Set to room temperature: Before cooking, let your prime rib sit for about 30 minutes to bring it to room temperature. This ensures a uniform kitchen.
Season generously: quality sea salt and freshly ground black pepper are all you need.
3. The perfect Prime Rib Recipe
Ingredients :
1 prime rib eye (about 1.5 inches thick)
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
2 crushed garlic cloves
Fresh Rosemary Sparkles
Instructions :
Preheat oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Sear: heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until it is smoking hot. Season your ribeye generously with salt and pepper. Place the steak in the skillet and make the necklace for 2 minutes on each side.
Add some flavor: reduce heat to medium. Add the butter, garlic and rosemary to the skillet. When butter is melting, tilt the skillet slightly and spoon the butter over the steak continuously for about 1-2 minutes. This infuses steak with incredible flavor.
Oven Time: Transfer skillet to preheated oven and bake for 6-8 minutes for medium rare. Adjust to your favorite gift.
