Cheesy Breadsticks
Ingredients:
• 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
• 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
• Marinara sauce (for dipping)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Roll out the pizza dough onto the prepared baking sheet, stretching it into a rectangle.
3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the dough.
5. Using a pizza cutter or knife, slice the dough into strips (about 1 inch wide). Do not separate the strips; keep them together on the baking sheet.
6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
7. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Separate the breadsticks and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
