Steak Alfredo Penne Pasta
Ingredients:
12 oz penne pasta
1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or your preferred cut)
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Steak: While the pasta is cooking, season the steak with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for 4-6 minutes on each side, depending on your preferred doneness. Remove from heat and let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly.
Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
Combine Everything: Add the cooked penne pasta to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly. Then, gently fold in the sliced steak.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your creamy, savory steak alfredo
