German-Style Pork Schnitzel
Ingredients:
– 4 boneless pork chops
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 2 large eggs
– 2 tablespoons milk
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– 4 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
– Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions:
1. Use a meat mallet to pound the pork chops to about 1/4-inch thickness.
2. Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, and paprika.
3. Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs mixed with milk, and one with breadcrumbs.
4. Dredge each pork chop in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
5. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
6. Fry the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
7. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
