Steak & Kidney Pie

Description:
A traditional British pie with chunks of steak and lamb kidney in rich gravy, wrapped in golden pastry.

Ingredients:
• 400g stewing steak
• 100g lamb kidney, chopped
• 1 onion, diced
• 1 tbsp flour
• 1.5 cups beef stock
• 1 sheet puff pastry
• 1 egg (for brushing)

Instructions:
1. Brown steak and kidney, add onion.
2. Stir in flour, then stock. Simmer 1.5 hours.
3. Fill dish, top with pastry, brush with egg.
4. Bake at 200°C for 25–30 mins.
