Philly Steak and Cheese Fries

Ingredients:

1 lb frozen or homemade French fries

1 tbsp olive oil

1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 small onion, thinly sliced

1/2 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak or beef sirloin

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

Optional: Cheez Whiz or queso for extra drizzle

Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Directions:

Bake or air fry the French fries according to package instructions until crispy and golden. Set aside.

While the fries cook, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced peppers and onions. Cook for 5–7 minutes until softened.

Add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3–5 minutes until browned and cooked through.

Arrange cooked fries on a large oven-safe platter or sheet pan. Top with the steak, peppers, and onions mixture.

Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.

Place under the broiler for 2–3 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish with parsley and an optional drizzle of Cheez Whiz or queso before serving.
