Ingredients:
4 lobster tails, split in half lengthwise
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
Salt to taste
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or chives
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
Prep Lobster Tails:
Preheat oven broiler. Use kitchen shears to cut the top shell of each tail lengthwise down the center. Gently pull the meat out and rest it on top of the shell, still attached at the base. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet.
Make Garlic Butter Glaze:
In a bowl, mix melted butter with garlic, lemon juice, black pepper, paprika, and a pinch of salt.
Broil the Lobster:
Brush lobster meat generously with garlic butter. Broil on the top rack for 8–10 minutes or until the meat is opaque and lightly browned, basting with more butter halfway through.
Finish and Serve:
Spoon additional melted butter from the pan over the lobster. Sprinkle with fresh herbs. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
