Crispé Fried Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Chicken:

1 whole chicken (cut up) 🍗

2 cups buttermilk 🥛

1 tsp salt 🧂

1 tsp black pepper ⚫

1 tsp paprika 🌶️

For the Breading:

2 cups all-purpose flour 🌾

1 tsp salt 🧂

1 tsp black pepper ⚫

1 tsp garlic powder 🧄

1 tsp onion powder 🧅

1 tsp paprika 🌶️

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat) 🔥

For Frying:

Vegetable oil (for deep frying) 🛢️

Instructions:

1. Marinate
Soak chicken in buttermilk + spices for at least 4 hours or overnight 💤

2. Coat
Dredge chicken in seasoned flour. Press the coating on well! 👌
(Optional: Double-dip for extra crunch!)

3. Fry
Heat oil to 350°F/175°C and fry in batches until golden & crispy—about 12–15 mins per batch! ⏱️
