Classic Southern Meatloaf

Description: A hearty American comfort food made with seasoned ground beef, breadcrumbs, onions, and a tangy ketchup glaze.

Ingredients:
• 500g ground beef
• 1 cup breadcrumbs
• 1 egg
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/4 cup ketchup (plus more for topping)
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. In a large bowl, combine beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
3. Shape into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
4. Top with a layer of ketchup.
5. Bake for 55–60 minutes.
6. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
