🛒 Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1 lb steak (strip loin, ribeye, or your fave cut)
• Cajun seasoning (to taste)
• 2 tbsp butter
• 8 oz shrimp, peeled & deveined
• 4 garlic cloves, chopped
• ¼ cup chicken broth or dry white wine
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 2 tsp Dijon mustard
• 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (or more if you’re bold)
• ¼ cup grated Parmigiano Reggiano (or Parmesan)
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 tbsp chopped parsley
👩🍳 Directions:
1️⃣ Sear the Steak:
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Season steak with Cajun seasoning and sear until browned and cooked to your liking. Set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp:
Lower heat to medium, add butter, then shrimp. Cook 1–2 min per side until just pink. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Sauté Garlic:
In the same pan, add chopped garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 min).
4️⃣ Deglaze the Pan:
Pour in broth or wine, scraping up those flavorful brown bits with a wooden spoon.
5️⃣ Make the Sauce:
Stir in cream, Dijon, and Cajun seasoning. Let simmer for 1–2 min.
6️⃣ Add Cheese & Finish:
Mix in Parmesan until melted. Stir in lemon juice, parsley, and return the shrimp to the sauce.
7️⃣ Serve It Up:
Spoon the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce over the steak and dig in!
