A crispy, juicy, toasted sandwich stacked with smoky bacon, fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and creamy mayo on sourdough. The all-time diner favorite.
Ingredients:
• 6 slices bacon
• 4 slices sourdough bread
• 2 tbsp mayonnaise
• 4 leaves romaine lettuce
• 1 ripe tomato, sliced
• Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Fry the bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
2. Toast bread slices until golden.
3. Spread mayo on each slice.
4. Layer lettuce, tomato slices, then bacon.
5. Season with salt and pepper. Close the sandwich, slice, and serve.
