**Ingredients:**
– 1 lb (450g) flank steak, thinly sliced
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 bell peppers, sliced (one red, one yellow)
– 1 onion, thinly sliced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch
– 1/2 cup beef broth
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
**Directions:**
1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and beef broth until well combined.
2. Season the steak strips with salt and pepper.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil, bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Sauté for 4-5 minutes, or until the vegetables are just tender.
5. Return the steak to the skillet. Add the sauce mixture to the skillet, stirring well to combine with the steak and vegetables.
6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
7. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
