For the Salmon & Shrimp:
β 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
β 10 large shrimp, peeled & deveined
β 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
β 1 tbsp olive oil
β Salt & pepper to taste
β Lemon wedges (for garnish)
For the Creamy Garlic Herb Sauce:
β 2 tbsp butter
β 2 garlic cloves, minced
β Β½ cup heavy cream
β ΒΌ cup chicken or seafood broth
β 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
β 1 tsp lemon juice
β 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or chives
β Cracked pepper & pinch of chili flakes (optional)
π Instructions
1: Season & Sear: Pat the salmon and shrimp dry, then rub with Cajun seasoning, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Sear salmon skin-side down in a hot skillet for 3β4 mins per side. Remove and set aside. Add shrimp and cook 2β3 mins per side until pink and charred.
2: Creamy Garlic Herb Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sautΓ© for 30 secs. Stir in cream and broth, then whisk in mustard, lemon juice, and season with pepper. Simmer until slightly thickened, then stir in herbs.
3: Assemble & Serve: Spoon the hot, garlicky cream sauce over the salmon and shrimp. Garnish with lemon wedges, herbs, and a pinch of chili flakes if desired.
