Steak with Creamy Thyme Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
2 beef steaks (ribeye or filet mignon) π₯©
2 tbsp olive oil π«
2 tbsp unsalted butter π§
3 garlic cloves, minced π§
1/2 cup heavy cream π₯
1/2 cup beef stock π₯£
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves πΏ
Salt and black pepper to taste π§
Mashed potatoes, for serving π₯

1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let rest. π₯©π₯
2. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. SautΓ© minced garlic until fragrant. π§β¨
3. Stir in beef stock, scraping the pan to deglaze. Simmer for 2 minutes. π₯£
4. Add heavy cream and thyme. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly. πΏπ₯
